Wow, what a year! We celebrated my daughter's first birthday and our 4 year anniversary in 2017. We made three trips to Nebraska to see family, most recently over the holidays. We had a great time playing cards and enjoying each other's company. We are now diving back into our busy lives.
Our 2018 Goal of Frugality
Happy New Year! It's that time of year where people make all kinds of new year resolutions. Two months later those resolutions of working out saving money are gone. The Aftermath of The Nothing New Challenge
Earlier this year, we took a 3 month challenge and attempted to buy nothing 'new' from the August thru October. Both my wife and I enjoyed the challenge and are talking about attempting another one in the future! With our challenge ending last month, I decided to look at the month of November and see how the 3 month challenge affected our spending and affected our decision to buy new stuff. We definitely purchased more 'new' stuff in November, however, I don't believe that it was outlandish.
